Seven months old and goin' strong!

Yep, it's true... I am a grown-up!  I've mastered crawling which is SO GREAT because now I can explore throughout my house and find all kinds of things that Mommy has been keeping from me!  She's having so much fun chasing me and watching my every move.  I can also pull myself up on anything I want, from the ottoman to the very shaky plant stand in my living room.  I use my big muscles.  I hope to be walking within the month, this of course makes Mommy very concerned.  She tries to tell me that I'm just a baby, but look at me... I'm obviously a grown-up!

The lion and me

Today at the zoo the lion escaped.  He decided that he was tired so he took a little nap and I just sat and played.  Finally, he woke up and we decided just to get to know each other.  He's quite incredible...

I'M CRAWLING!!!

I finally figured out how to move my arms with my legs.  I'm by no means a master yet, but I can get where I want to go without any help... and that's a lot of fun!

On Saturday, we spent the evening with Mrs. Lorissa Brunk.  She's friends with my Mommy and Daddy and she lives in Colorado with her funny husband, Matt (who I met earlier this month... I sure wish he lived here in Wichita so I could spend more time with him because I really like him!).  My Mommy loves her!  She laughed so hard at her at one point in the evening, I was concerned that she was going to hurt herself... or wet her pants.
