I'm three months old!!

Can you believe it??  Mommy cannot and is trying to keep me her little tiny baby, but I am very much a grown-up!  I can lay on my belly and hold my head up, and sometimes I even figure out how to roll over.

I could spend all day outdoors, and I really love my dog Tig.  She's seems a tad crazy, but she seems to fit in very well in my family.  I have a lot of fun running around the yard chasing her, and she loves to kiss me every chance she gets.  When I'm not playing outside with her, I play with my tiny stuffed version of her.

And as you can see in the pictures, I still have my mohawk!

Indiana

Well, I made it home from my first big trip!  I flew to Indiana recently with my dad and mom, and my Uncle Andrew, Aunt Lindsay and cousin Taylor.  The plane ride wasn't too bad and I think I'd like to do it again sometime (even though I look scared to death in the picture, I really wasn't).  While I was there I met my great Grandpa and great Grandma Hittle, quite a few aunts and uncles, and some pretty crazy cousins!  They were all very nice to me and I hope I get to see them again sometime soon.

I tried to sleep as much as I could, but by Saturday night I was wiped out!  I just wanted to be at my house in my own bed.  When I got home on Sunday, I rested most of the day with my mommy (since it was Mother's Day I was extra sweet to her!) and then went to bed early.  Plus, while I was traveling my gums started to bother me and I just can't find enough things to chew on to make them feel better!  So, all I wanted to do on Monday was have Mommy hold me and chew on her fingers every chance I got.

Of course my mommy took all kinds of pictures while we were away so I'll be sure to post some of them.  One of my favorite things from my trip was swimming at the hotel.  I very much enjoy water!  I can't wait to go swimming this summer!!!  I get in the water and just kick and move my arms all around... it's the greatest thing ever.  Now when I'm at home I pretend my bathtub is a pool.  Last night I was moving all around and Tig kept looking at me trying to figure out what I was doing, so I splashed some water her way!

Well, I think I'll stop now.  I get worn out pretty easily because I have a tiny little body. Ta-ta for now!

Hello!

Hello family and friends-

I decided that this blog might make life a little more simple for me. :)  I can keep you all updated on my life with notes and pictures, and you can make the choice whether or not you'd like to keep up.  

I've very much enjoyed the first few months that I've been out in the world.  I'm learning new things all the time and am amazed at every new thing.  I've recently figured out that I have fingers and toes and they are really fascinating!  I can hold things with my fingers and I could probably hold things with my toes, too, if I kept trying.

I still have a mohawk.  My mommy combs it down every night, but it just wants to stick up.  I love the wind blowing through it; it's so relaxing.  I actually just really enjoy being outside.  Whenever I get a bit fussy, I can usually talk my daddy into taking me outside to calm down.

Well, I think I'll sign off for now.
