December 28th

My Daddy and Mommy have been married seven years as of this day.

So, for the day, baby sister and I were super sweet little angels all day long.

and Elly is four months old... unbelievable.

The Christmas Tree

We put up our Christmas Tree a couple of weekends ago and I helped out quite a bit, I must say.  I had a really yummy lollipop, I ran in and out of the room every so often, and I'd go look at baby sister on the couch now and then.  Super helpful, that's me!

Elly just sat on couch and watched us all.  I think she really enjoyed it.  She watches pretty much everything I do and wants to be just like me.  Oh little sister...

We opted for our little fake tree this year and it is a nice little accent in our living room.  We put up our Nativity scene and I broke a leg off of one of the little lambs, and also a little ear off another one.  Oops.  I'm almost two; who puts out a Nativity scene right where I can reach it??? 

Anway, looks pretty grand!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY DADDY!!!

Daddy is 30!!!!!!!

WHOA!

For Daddy's birthday we threw him a surprise FIESTA! It was my first fiesta... I love them.  I love pinatas filled with candy. I love sopapillas. 

We also somehow talked some of Daddy's friends into being a mariachi band. :)

It was a blast!

However, I did learn that my mother can, but HATES, keeping secrets. 

 

Cousin Taylor is 2!!!

My cousin, Taylor had her birthday party the other day!  It was a blast!  There was a princess cake, presents, and a park.  Pretty much everything I love.

Thanksgiving!

Well, Thanksgiving has come and gone.  I love Thanksgiving.  We have a big dinner with my family and I get to play with all my cousins!  It's a great day!  We also go to a really cool park that has a TRAIN in it.  Yeah... a real train.  It's awesome.  Here are some pics of the day.

THREE MONTHS OLD!!!

I am my mother's daughter

Throughout my life, my Mommy and Daddy have hidden behind doors, jumped out from behind the refrigerator, hidden behind the couch... basically any way that they can jump out and scare me... they do.  And the time has come that they needed to pay. :)

Friday night, my daddy put me to bed as usual but I wanted to see Mommy.  So, Daddy went out to the living room and told her for me.  When she came walking into my room, I was crouching down like a little bear and GROWLED at her!  And she was scared out of her mind!  HAHAHAHA It was great!  Mommy screamed and then just started laughing hysterically, like she does.  So then, of course, I just cracked up!

Mommy has been taking more pictures with her phone and hasn't quite figured out how to get those on to my blog for me.  She has a lot going on though so I'm just being patient as I almost always am. HAHAHAHA  That's a joke actually.  I'm almost two, and Mommy tries to make me practice my patience constantly, but... I don't really like being patient. :)

Mommy, and little sister, and myself have been going on many walks lately admiring the BEAUTIFUL amazing-ness around us.  Sometimes I don't like to take naps, so Mommy decides that we should all go for a walk instead.  Sometimes, she just has really great ideas.  Anyway, Ellyott gets to ride in her little carrier attached to Mommy, and I put my blanket and pillows in the stroller and we're off!  We go on really long walks, so sometimes I just fall asleep in my stroller (I'm wondering if Mommy knows this will happen and that's why she suggests these so- called "walks") and wake up so refreshed!  We walk through one of the older neighborhoods in our town and really, people, it is so incredibly beautiful right now!  Mommy loves it so much.  I can tell.  Which means I love it so much, too. :)

Oh yeah, I've been sleeping in a big girl bed.  Yeah, that's right, a big girl bed.

Just a few things I've been up to...

I've been pretty busy lately!  Obviously, since I can't even find time to have a seat and write!  Usually Elly and I get up in the morning and I eat my breakfast and I let her just relax on me if she wants to.  I often watch Yo Gabba Gabba while eating my breakfast to get my morning dance on!  It's quite invigorating. :)  Ellyott is getting so big, and growing up so fast, we feel like we can't even keep up with her.  And I know Mommy feels like she can't keep up because many times I find her trying to relax, but no, no, no, I keep her moving!  I wouldn't want her to get out of sync with us!  Actually, the last two weeks have been quite trying on all of us as I have had a pretty bad cold, and Elly has had an ear infection.  But we're all feeling SO MUCH better now!  

I posted some pics of what I've been doing in the last month or so.  I went to Cowtown and loved the swing there.  I could have played there all day!  I also got to go to the zoo one day with Haley because she was out of school!  Major BLAST!  She's a great big cousin and I learn all kinds of things from her.

I also have really been trying to help Mommy out since we haven't been feeling to well around the house.  One night I decided to give Elly a bath.  And of course, she loved it.

Baby Elly is TWO MONTHS old!!

We're still here!!

Okay people life has been a little bit crazy!  Mommy and Daddy have finally realized that there are TWO of us little ladies, and it's just been crazy!  But here are a few updates:

Ellyott is so cute lately!  She's smiling and talking to me and Daddy, and Mommy.  She loves it when I hug her, and lay on top of her. :)  

I help out with pretty much everything.  Mommy basically couldn't get through the day without me probably.  I do what I can...

I've been going to Nursery Rhyme Time at the library and have REALLY been enjoying it.  We sing songs, listen to stories, and at the end they blow bubbles on us!!!  It is WONDERFUL!!!

I'll try to get some pictures up soon.  I need Mommy's help with that and right now Ellyott is NOT HAPPY!  So we're out for now!

The Pumpkin Patch

Well, it's officially Autumn!

And you know what that means... time to go to the

PUMPKIN PATCH!!!

This year Grandpa, Aunt Lisa, Uncle Wes, Myranda, Haley, Aunt Anna, Uncle Bryan, Aunt Lindsay, Uncle Andrew, Taylor, Grant, Mommy, Daddy, Ellyott, and myself

all went!  And it was a BLAST!  There were animals, a giant slide, a swing horse, a corn maze, gourd guns, a tractor train, and of course, the patch.

It was a super fun day!

Ellyott is ONE month old!!!

Baby sister is growing so fast!  I can't believe that she has been around for a month now.  She's starting to recognize things and Mommy can get her to smile every so often.  It's super cute!  She still sleeps and eats a lot, but I think she's starting to really want to play with me. :)  Hopefully that will happen soon!!!

Ooh! I love her!

Baby sister Elly has been around for a little more than a week now... and I just LOVE her!  I love to snuggle with her; I love to kiss her; I love to lay on top of her and hug her; I love to rub her little head; I love to hold her and pat her... I just love her... well, until something more exciting comes along like a toy, or an opportunity to go outside. :)

She's a good baby for Mommy and Daddy.  She pretty much just eats and sleeps right now.  She's starting to have some good awake times, but she hits her two hour mark and she's pretty much out again.  I can't wait until she gets up and wants to play with me!!  I hope it's soon!

Ellyott Ruth was born at 10:43AM on August 28th.

9 pounds 7 ounces 20 inches long

My baby sister is finally here!!!  And did you see that poundage?!?!  Mommy is sure happy to have her out!  And I am, too, because she's so fun to hold, and hug, and kiss!  Mommy and Ellyott are still at the hospital, and are both doing well.  They should be coming home tomorrow hopefully.
