In celebration of my independence,
I spent the evening oohing and aahing
over the sparks, and pops, and booms!
I held my first sparkler, and I also
held a roman candle (with Daddy's help).
Taylor was a tad bit concerned with that situation
as she looked on from the safety of Grandpa's garage.
I ended up sitting in the back of our car with Mommy
to watch the big show put on by the neighbors
because it was getting too loud for me. I had a great
view from the back seat and loved it!
I also stayed up later than I EVER have in my life...
I didn't even get to bed until 11PM!!!
Whew! I was wiped out!
But it was worth it. :)
