Oh yeah... and this...

THIS is the kind of fun we really like to have!
Elly loves, I mean LOVES riding around in this baby stroller.
So, I, being the considerate, most loving sister that I am, push her around purely for her delight.
Okay, I might really enjoy this as well.

Look at this 9 MONTH OLD!!

Round baby aka Ellyott has REALLY grown up these last few weeks!
She is mobile... but I'm not sure we can call it a crawl. She sits and scoots, gets on her hands and knees, then sits back up and kind of turns on her rump, and then does it all over.
Mommy set her in the living room by the front door and in minutes she was at the back door. The girl has crazy skills! She is pulling herself up on to EVERYTHING. We found her in the bathroom, in the dark, standing at the bathtub. Then when she realized that she was not going to get a bath, and was being moved back into our bedroom to play, she was not happy and made her way back to the tub.
She is very energetic and full of life. She also likes to laugh. She really likes to pull Mommy's and my hair and then when we scream, she REALLY laughs... so naughty... so cute.
We have quite a bit of fun together these days. Tea parties, dress up, you know... all the usual little girl things. But we also really like to wrestle and roll all around in pillows and blankets... what? It's fun.
So, all in all, life is a blast.

Waiting for Daddy... the best part of our day!!

Everyday, I wait out on the porch for Daddy to get home. I get super excited when I see his car round the corner, and I hurriedly run down the steps, down the driveway, and jump into his arms as soon as possible.
On this day, I was a fairy princess.
Of course, I also had my high heels on.
(These were passed down to me from my cousin Haley and I looooove them!)
I even found a frog prince!
Okay, actually it's just Mr. Toad... the toad that lives in our front yard.

Mother's Day

Oh, Mommy... can you see me hiding in this tree??
Mommy likes anchors, so we gave her this necklace

Since both Ellyott and I LOOOOOOVE Mommy so much,
we both slept in!! Which means Mommy slept in, too!!!
Then we showered her with hugs and kisses, as we always do every morning, and gave her a present showing her our undying love for all she does for us. Then we took her to lunch, spent some time visiting some other moms, then Mommy and Elly curled up together for an afternoon nap while Daddy and I hung out (although I eventually fell asleep, too. hehehe), and then we had a great evening just being together. I think she kind of likes us.

A nice 10K to start off the morning!

Daddy and Uncle Bryan ran in the River Run this year. Daddy tried to get my attention as he ran by, but I never saw him. :)

River Festival Parade

It's River Festival time here where I live!! This means: parade, early morning cheering, FOOD COURT, and all kinds of festivities all week long!! Friday night began the festival with the Sundown Parade. This year's theme has something to do with pirates, so there were a lot of pirate themed floats... but there was also a lot of cowboy stuff, and fire trucks... hmm... it all worked, I guess. My Great Grandma and two of her sisters went and found some street side seats and saved them for us all! It was great!!! Grandpa, Haley, and some of my other cousins were there as well. I love parades...

The whole gang

My Uncle Jonny is in the Navy... I wonder if he has an outfit like this...
