The park

Daddy, Mommy, and myself went to the park recently and had a blast!  I love to swing!!!  I was very intrigued by the sand, and I really enjoy going down the slide.  There are four parks within walking distance of our house, so I intend to really have some fun once the weather gets a tad bit warmer!

You might notice that I'm wearing my scarf and my pearls... I don't leave the house without either these days. :)

January 19th

I forgot to let everyone know that I'm eleven months old!!  It's incredibly hard for my mommy to believe.  Some of my favorite things right now are walking wherever I go... although I can crawl so fast people can't even catch me, so sometimes I do that, too; I love to play at the park and go down the slides by myself... I'm a grown-up, that's what I do; Tig and I still love each other so much and love to play together every chance we get (sometimes Daddy lets her come inside when it's really cold and I like to crawl into her bed with her, but Mommy usually catches me and comes and snatches me out before I really get to have any fun... Note From Mom: DISGUSTING!); I love my babies and my teddy bears and I often like to read to them when we're actually all supposed to be taking a nap; I really enjoy playing the piano and the guitar; and I still LOVE and I do mean LOOOOOVE to dance!

Chuck E. Cheese

I recently had the pleasure of attending my first (ooh, and I hope not my last!) birthday party at Chuck E. Cheese's.  My cousin, Haley, is 6 years old now and to celebrate we partied it up with rides, pizza and cake.  I loved the rides and am sorry to admit that I threw many a fit when someone would try to remove me from them.  But oh, how I loved them!

A Note From Mom:

Chuck E. Cheese is a gross little place, but Lucy did not mind one bit and seriously LOVED every ride she was on and would become very distressed when we tried to remove her from them.  It was incredibly hard to remain a parent and not crack up.

It's 2009???

My first taste of holiday madness has come and gone and I must say... I do enjoy presents!  And I actually enjoyed the presents themselves just as much as the wrapping (my Mommy was smart and just put everything in a sack and I went crazy pulling it all out... because I LOVE to pull things out of things!).  I received so many wonderful toys, I will try to recount them all... a tiny piano/xylophone, a sock monkey, a tiny fold-out couch, a swing, a keyboard, quite a few super cute outfits, a couple new balls, new music to dance to, a farm toy with lots of buttons to push that makes lots of noise, a baby doll, and some polar animals!  Oh yeah...
