Oh Taylor...

When I'm not hanging out at the pool, I go to my cousin Taylor's house and hang out in her pool.  It has a really fun slide that I love to go down face first on!  It's super fun!  Taylor has fun pouring water on my head... and most of the time, I really like it, too.  She must just know how much I love the fountain at the pool so she tries to recreate it for me at her pool.  Oh Taylor... what a nice cousin! :)

I LOVE fountains!!

Today I went to the pool and it was a great day to go.  I made a new friend named Cooper.  He was four and he was a lot of fun to play with.  We splashed each other, we threw our toys around, we jumped off the edge of the pool, and we pretended to take naps while we had to sit out during adult swim time.
However, the fun I had with Cooper doesn't even begin to compare to the enjoyment I found playing in the fountain!!!  The fountain is shaped like a mushroom and water pours out of the top and then showers over the side.  I've always been a little hesitant to go under completely, but Mommy held me and we went under together and then I was off!  I went back and forth having a blast!!  I'll try to get some pictures the next time I'm there so you all can share the joy!!

***I took these pictures at the pool the next day when I was there with my Grandpa, and my cousins, Haley and Riley.***

I love you, Daddy!

From our first moments together, I knew you were going to be a great daddy!  I love you so much!  Thank you for being such an incredible person and taking such great care of me.
Love,
Lucy

I can't believe I forgot this!! (A Note From Mom, cont.)

The best thing Lucy has done to shock and astonish me recently is this:
We were at Target the other day and I was trying on a couple of shirts and a dress.  We went into the largest dressing room which was the first room.  I brought our cart in the room with us and realized that the door didn't quite lock so I put the cart in front of the door to keep Lucy in.  I set her on the little bench in the room and she stood up and ran around and looked in the mirror and was just being her active self.  I had just taken the dress off when all of a sudden the door had somehow been flung open and I see Lucy taking off as quickly as her little legs will take her looking back at me to see if I'm chasing her.  Notice I wrote I HAD JUST TAKEN THE DRESS OFF!!!!  I was standing there, 7 months pregnant, with nothing left to the imagination for anyone who could have been passing by!  I covered myself with the dress, quickly shut the door, put my clothes on, left everything in the room and took off out in the store to find Lucy.  She was actually out there waiting for me to chase her (this is her most FAVORITE game these days!) so I didn't have to go far to hear her squealing with delight and laughing.  And really all I could do was laugh with her because she thought it was such a great game!

A Note From Mom:

Recently, Lucy has been making our grocery shopping experiences quite memorable.  On one occasion, I was getting something out of the freezer section and turned back around just in time to see that she had opened the carton of eggs and was trying to get them out as quickly as possible before I could get to her.  She managed to keep one and immediately threw it over the cart right in the middle of the aisle!  So we had to go find an employee and let them know of our mess.  Fortunately, there was already a spill in that aisle and someone was on their way to come clean it up.
This last experience involved pretty much the same situation except instead of eggs, it was a small carton of watermelon!  She had already thrown it into a middle aisle refrigerator once and cracked up about it.  I turned my back to get something and again turned around just in time to see her throwing it over the cart, the carton exploding open, and her letting out a nice hearty belly laugh about it.  This time though, she did it right in front of an employee, so we didn't have to go far to apologize.
I've also recently been asking her if she's gone crazy and she smiles and nods her head!  My next question is if she's teaching her baby sister to be crazy as well to which she also smiles and nods.  So... I'm looking forward to the next few years with some little crazies!!

Loving the pool!

Daddy, Mommy and myself enjoyed a nice evening at the pool this weekend.  It was a little bit chilly for Daddy and I, but Mommy seemed to be loving it!  I splashed around with Daddy for awhile and then decided just to run around the pool and let Mommy and Daddy chase me around.  There was  a man soaking in some sun that Mommy kept telling me to leave alone, but I just could not figure out what he was doing so I kept walking up as closely as I could to him.  I also needed a few snacks while I was there so I spent some time at the picnic table eating my crackers and trying to catch the little birds that would fly right up to us.  It was a splendid evening!

Aah Summer time...

Well, Summer is creeping up on us.  Here at my house it has felt like it quite a bit.  There have already been a few days in the 90's!  And for those of you that might not remember, my mommy has another tiny little human sharing her body which tends to make her extremely HOT!  So we have ceiling fans blowing, stationary fans, and our air conditioner running.  I LOVE IT!  It makes our house nice and cool and perfect for running around like a maniac!

Our garden has really taken off and I try to help Mommy with it as much as possible.  I can't wait until I get to eat all my harvest because I think it will be D-E-L-I-C-I-O-U-S!!!  And though I do try to help Mommy, I tend to end up playing with the watering can, the hose, Tig's water bowl, or anything else that has to do with water... because I love being in water, I love drinking the water, I love pouring out the water on my head, I just love water.  And of course, when I am playing with water I tend to also find a little dirt to play in as well.  The picture above was taken after I decided to drink out of a mud puddle in the driveway that I had made.  I literally bent over, stuck my face in the mud and tried to drink it.  I had already cleaned my mouth off a little bit before the picture was taken.  And the other pictures are just funny.

And just one more thing... the POOL is now open!!!  Mommy and I went the very first day it was open and it was glorious!  The water was freezing, but Mommy and I really didn't even notice.  I ran out as far as I possibly could, jumped off the edge numerous times, already met a few summer pals, and just had a blast.  Thanks to my little sister heating Mommy up, I believe the three of us are going to have a nice Summer lounging in the pool.  Well... Mommy thinks we'll be lounging... but I'm not really into that.
